Inspired by this theme, De Poortere has created a new collection of "Vintage sixties" rugs. It shows the surface of cracked ice, and the darkness of the chasm below it. The broken lines are rough- dull in some areas, shiny in others. Flatwoven in structure, this fine piece is manufactured from mechanical jacquard. The cotton and polyester blend that goes into its making delivers a product that is breathable, tear-resistant, abrasion-resistant, and comfortable.
